i love february! chocolate, streamers, hearts and the gradual thawing of the snow... eventually (notice that those pictures were all taken today. spring schpring.) it isn't my favorite month- an honor reserved for a fourway tie between march, october, november and june- but it's up there. the month could be my valentine, if i was not already taken by... my new lens! really, it's amazing beyond words! 1.4 aperture! i got a new camera, as well, and i've been gently kissing it every hour or so, which my mother finds unusual and concerning. i don't really have much to say, except that i am taking photography 1 because they wouldn't let me skip it and i am so severely underwhelmed by it that i might never recover. at least i get a chance to amaze the teacher with my epic skillz?
remember to love yourselves and put yourself before any valentine (yes, even before your 1000 dollar portrait lens, because really. you're worth a lot. more than 1000 dollars maybe even.)
